The Bible Doesn't Say That | Preach The Gospel At All Times And If Necessary, Use Words

We are looking at the last non-biblical statement today, one that's attributed to St. Francis - "Preach the gospel, and if necessary, use words." Today, we learn that this statement is not only false, but it incorrectly shapes how we share the gospel with the lost. It places emphasis on us doing good works instead of the truth that Christ has saved us from sin.

As Christians, we should reshape this phrase to "Share the gospel, always with words, and live a life that strives to back it up."
