About this Episode

Our perspective of the bigness of God is often overshadowed by our prideful look at ourselves. We see everything around us and assume God's place as lord over our life. When we learn to see God's transcendence, we see things in the correct order of importance. A right view of the transcendence of God elevates our reverence to God.

Isaiah 55:8 & 9 says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts are higher than your thoughts."

The God of the Bible is no abstract deity that is removed from and uninterested in His creation. The Bible is the story of God's involvement with His creation, and particularly with the people in it.
