Why It Never Seems To Be Enough

Living sacrificially is a counter cultural way of life, but it’s the life we are called to by the Spirit. But the extent or size of that sacrifice isn’t an indication of God’s acceptance, it’s more about our intentions and placing God’s pleasure above the desire for our own. The sacrifice has to actually cost us something. The prerequisite for receiving the blessings of God is that we have to become the people of God, and when we seek Him first, He will add to us.
