Jesse Beernink
Special guest
Jesse and Meranda Beernink, along with their abundance of adorable children (Malayna, Mariana, Jezaniah, Xylia, Zayden, Ezekiel, Judah, Elias, Hollyn and one adult, married child – Turner), are excited and humbled by the call to lead Resonate Church. Jesse and Meranda have a deep passion for people that aren’t normally involved in the church. Together, their vision (along with Resonate’s) is to raise a gospel-centered, gospel-sent family to connect people to God and to each other through Jesus Christ. They pray as God has called them to reach and demonstrate His love, they may begin a contagious movement in Janesville and beyond. That movement is multiplication – multiplication of disciple-makers; multiplication of gospel-centered churches; and multiplication of family-on-mission families.
Jesse and Meranda have been married since 2005, and together, have been “all-in” in ministry the moment they began life together. Jesse spent 12 years in full-time ministry mainly as a Student Ministry Pastor working with students and families priot to receiving his call to plant a church in 2017.
Jesse’s education began at Life Training Institute, where he received a Pastoral License; took Biblical Survey and Theology classes; and interned directly with the Student Ministry Pastor. Jesse has also studied theology and ministry at Northwestern College and Liberty University, as well as Business Management at Blackhawk Technical College.
Jesse Beernink has been a guest on 1 episode.

We Are | On Mission

baptist, bible, church, preaching, scripture, sermon
This week, we get to hear from one of our church plant partners from Wisconsin – Jesse Beernink, as we focus on what it means to be on mission as a church. Everyone needs salvation, and it requires the power of God to happen. We get to participate in sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus and that should overwhelmingly and joyfully overflow from us as Christians. Jesse shows us in Romans chapters 1-3 how to live an overflowing life that will bring joy and purpose as we draw closer to Jesus. The more we draw in, the more our sense of urgency to share the gospel will become and the clearer the answer will be to why we should evangelize. Yes, God asks us to share our faith with strangers, but more importantly, He asks us to share His hope and salvation with friends and family. Even if we don’t travel to another country and preach, we are all called to be missionaries.
Have you shared the good news of salvation through Jesus’ death and resurrection lately? Is the sense of urgency burning in your heart for all the lost people who don’t know the love and hope of God? Then join us as we make sharing our faith a priority in our lives to reach those who are lost with the saving knowledge of Jesus. As always, we’d love to answer any questions or help you take the next step in your faith journey – burnthickory.com/next
